When fitting your latches, you may find that you require a latch block. Made of solid oak, our latch blocks have a chamfer which runs all the way around the block and recessed screw holes which may be fitted with either brass countersunk screws or black japanned screws. If you prefer, you may purchase plugs which are used to cover the supplied fixing screws.
The oak latch block can be timmed when fitting or alternatively, let us know the exact dimensions and we can supply the block to your exact specifications.
